This book is a self centered, somewhat narcissistic indulgence by the author. Use of the pronoun "I " is constant throughout. The author, a white, affluent woman, reflects on her mid-life divorce and the five plus years she spent in "self discovery" traveling to various countries and "studying with healers". She writes constantly of her pain. There is little or no knowledge for the reader to take from this book.
